#GDP038

Hi everyone!!!!

Haven't been around in Blogland for some time!!!  While in Cape Town last weekend for my niece's wedding, I went shopping at a wonderful yarn shop and I bought a lot of yarn and yes, I'm busy knitting, knitting, knitting ever spare moment!!!  The wedding was a feast and everyone really enjoyed it so much!!!!

This morning I've put the knitting aside and made a card to link at the Global Design Project sketch challenge.  The sketch:

and my card:

Hand punched the little flowers.
Used my Tim Holtz lattice die.
Got some scorelines on the grey strip at the right.
Sentiment die cut word was a gift from a friend.  Added some shimmer with my WoS brush.
Patterned paper from FabScrabs.

I'll put the knitting aside to pop in at everyone during the week!!!

Thank you so much for visiting - hope to see you again soon!!!!

Wat een mooie bijna grafische kaart Petra met dat zwarte ruitpatroon. Gave opbouw ook om de sketch uit te voeren.
Wat voor moois ben je aan het breien? Ben benieuwd...;p
Lieve groetjes Miranda

This is a fantastic design. Love your criss crossed die cut. Looks like a lattice. I have recently started knitting again--just made a scarf for my daughter to take to college.
